3 Problems with a naturalistic view

Naturalism is a view based completely on science that attempts to explain all of life and its origin without the help or existence of any supernatural force or god. This gives science the gigantic task of explaining literally everything and it is with this task that science has fallen a bit short on. The origin of life for example is a topic that science has struggled with. There are so many components necessary for life to occur and stay alive that the odds of every part needed to randomly come into existence and come together and begin functioning and stay alive is so incredibly small that it is as good as impossible. The supposed evolution of living things isn’t explained well either by science. There is an extreme lack of physical evidence in the fossil record for any type of evolution and the species of animals fond in the fossil record seem to support a narrowing of the species of animals throughout time, which is opposite of evolutionary theory. Naturalism eliminates the after life and any form of god or supernatural force of any kind, but at the same time fails to show evidence for its own belief. Probably the biggest problem for Naturalism is the idea of intelligent design, the idea that a higher power created us with a design. Our bodies are incredibly complex down to the very cells keeping us going, the simplest forms of life show design and complexity beyond what random chance could ever accomplish.
